A May 13 date was stated as the next port of call for Fury who has been out of action since a November 2015 win over Wladimir Klitschko.
It seems the ex-unified heavyweight king is willing to delay his spring comeback until the summer in order to face the man who defeated old rival David Haye at the weekend.

Bellew would never be able to agree a date so close, although a few months down the line at Goodison Park would be a realistic target for both.
It’s no secret Fury has put on some poundage since entering semi-retirement, whilst Bellew needs recovery time from his battle with Haye.
The massive weight difference would be a huge stumbling block though as Fury’s height and weight would leave Bellew with a seemingly impossible task.
