Manny Pacquiao and former stablemate Amir Khan are on board with a spring super-fight that will see the two duke it out five years after sharing the same trainer.
Both trained alongside each other under the guidance of Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym until Khan’s 2012 loss to Danny Garcia.
Since then, Pacquiao has remained with Roach, whilst Khan has moved on to work with Andre Ward’s coach Virgil Hunter.

According to the pair’s social media accounts, the fight will take place on April 23 at a venue to be announced in the near future.
The deal is bad news for Australian Jeff Horn who had even enlisted the help of US President Donald Trump in his bid to seal a Pacquiao encounter.
Sites in the United States, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom are said to be in the running to stage one of the biggest welterweight fights of the year.
Pacquiao and Khan were previously linked to a battle in 2015 until the Filipino Senator eventually signed to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.
