Crawford, Khan top betting to be Pacquiao’s next opponent
Following Manny Pacquiao asking his fans on twitter who they would like to see him fight next in the UAE, Terence Crawford has emerged as the odds-on favourite to face the Filipino boxing legend.
The super-lightweight king is followed by Amir Khan at 10/3 and Australian Jeff Horn at 7/2.
Next Manny Pacquiao opponent odds:
Terence Crawford – 10/11
Amir Khan – 10/3
Jeff Horn – 7/2
Kell Brook – 5/1
Floyd Mayweather 13/2
“There’s been a lot of speculation over who Manny Pacquiao will face next in the ring and whilst the Filipino fighter has included Kell Brook and Amir Khan in a poll on his Twitter account, there’s one clear favourite to face Pac-man in the UAE.
“The American Terence Crawford, a two-weight world champion at lightweight and light welterweight, is the current odds-on favourite at 10/11 to face Pacquiao whilst Amir Khan, despite winning the Twitter poll with 47% of more than 10,000 votes, is second favourite at 10/3,” said Ian Marmion, Director of Trading at BetStars.
”Khan’s rival Kell Brook is 5/1, but with the two British fighters seemingly destined to face each-other in the ring this year, Crawford is without doubt the leading candidate. Australian Jeff Horn, whose representatives were rumoured to be in talks with Pacquiao’s over a fight down under, currently sits third in the betting at 7/2.”
