Ex-undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis is keen to get going this weekend after signing up to the broadcast team on ITV Box Office for Chris Eubank Jr’s IBO title challenge.

Eubank takes on current International Boxing Organisation super-middleweight belt holder Renold Quinlan at the Olympia in Kensington, London and Lewis expects the Brighton man to put on a show.

“I think the last name is something he’s trying to live up to, and maybe even do better than his dad, and that has motivated him into becoming the world class fighter that he is now,” Lewis told ITV Box Office.

“I’m looking forward to this fight. Eubanks Jr. is a showman in the ring. He’s aggressive, throws high volumes of punches and is very elusive.

“He’s a great athlete and his physical conditioning is never a question. I expect him to come in and be himself, and usually that’s good enough to get the job done,” he added.

Lewis will sit alongside Pound for Pound king Andre Ward for ITV’s coverage, which kicks off on Saturday evening and represents a first foray into the paid market for the terrestrial channel.

A packed bill featuring top talent from the UK and beyond has been put together by ITV, including David Price v Christian Hammer at heavyweight and a middleweight encounter between Adam Etches and John Ryder.

Talented Welshman Andrew Selby aims to move closer to a WBC title shot against Arden Diale, whilst Kid Galahad battles former world champion Joseph Agbeko at the featherweight limit.
