Zab Judah, 39, returns from three-year absence with early TKO

The 39 year-old, who last reigned as a recognized belt holder in 2011, is hoping to have one more title run and wants to keep active in 2017.

Judah didn’t waste any time notching up a 43rd career win after the southpaw New Yorker ending the Munguia contest midway through the second round to the delight of the home crowd.

In the co-feature, Derrick ‘Take it to the Bank’ Webster dominated Thomas Awimbono to claim the vacant USBO super-middleweight title and improve to 22-1.

Webster, 34, is three wins into his comeback from losing out to Arif Magomedov in the summer of 2015 as the southpaw puts his failed middleweight run behind him to focus on 168 pounds.
