The Jones Jr. vs. Gunn collision in the squared circle has all the makings of a colossal superfight as each warrior seeks adding another championship belt to their already impressive resume.
Despite being at the end of their highly decorated careers, both Jones Jr. and Gunn are coming into this bout as though it is their first title shot.

“I know Bobby Gunn is hungry; he’s been asking for this fight for a while, and now he’s going to get his shot,” said Roy Jones Jr. “He’s a boxing champion and bare knuckle champion, and knows how to win, so I am training for this as hard as I did my first world championship fight.”

Jones Jr. was at one time the pound-for-pound best boxer in all of boxing, and is undoubtedly one of the best to ever lace up the gloves.

A former IBA world title holder, Gunn is the current undisputed and unrivaled bare knuckle boxing heavyweight champion of the world, and is coming into this fight February 17 with one plan—to put Roy on his back.

“This fight is a dream come true; Roy is a legend, and a future Hall-of-Famer,” said Gunn. “But I didn’t take this fight to simply share the ring with the man, I took it to beat the man, and that’s what I’m going to do.”

Roy Jones Jr. and Bobby Gunn will face off February 17 at the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware, and will be televised around the world.
