Despite previously refusing to acknowledge McGregor’s desire to fight, Mayweather is seemingly on the path to drumming up interest again after admitting contacting UFC boss Dana White regarding a cross codes contest.

Claiming McGregor is only using his name for publicity, Mayweather will no doubt be awaiting the Irishman’s next move with baited breath as fans hope for a massive collision between the pair in 2017.
