Josh O’Reilly to fight Angel Sarinana at the Hershey Centre

The fight is scheduled for eight rounds in the super featherweight division. “It’s a great match up for the fans,” explained promoter Tyler Buxton. “Dubs is a punching machine. He never seems to get tired and the fans love him for it. Sarinana is surging at the moment. He’s undefeated in his last five. He’ll be hungry for the upset.”

An all-action crowd pleaser, O’Reilly is six for six, including an impressive third round TKO over the more experienced Imre Nagy (15-8-0, 7KOs) last May. With a win on November 19, the Hamilton buzzsaw has to be considered a leading contender for the vacant Canadian super featherweight crown. The fight also marks O’Reilly’s first eight round test, against perhaps his toughest foe to date.

Sarinana comes into the fight on a five bout undefeated streak, including a ten round unanimous decision last May over 55 fight Colombian veteran Dunis Linan. He has fought a full eight rounds or more on three occasions, winning the USBC lightweight crown via majority decision in 2012.
