Floyd Mayweather insists that he is done with boxing.
Speaking to reporters in Brooklyn, New York, where he presided over a card he’s promoting, Mayweather says there is no desire for him to return to the ring, a statement that was a response to queries about him facing Manny Pacquiao in a rematch next year.
“I don’t want to fight anymore,” said Mayweather, brushing off claims that his presence at ringside when Pacquiao fought Jessie Vargas in Las Vegas two weeks ago was a sign that they are going to go at it one more time.
“”I’m happy with my career,” said Mayweather, who turns 40 in February 2017.
“Not at all,” he said to a question whether he misses boxing.
Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing after beating Andre Berto in September last year, just months after scoring a lopsided decision over Pacquiao.
