Steve Goodwin snaps up veteran Michael Ramabeletsa

Ramabelatsa is on a winning run of 3 straight wins and is looking to prove that a high calibre journeyman can turn into a champion.

“I wanted Steve Goodwin to manage me so I got in my car and travelled 3 hours from Preston to Leighton Buzzard to make this happen. I believe Steve can create opportunities for me that have not been available in my career. You only have to look at Dereck Chisora and Frank Buglioni who chose Steve to manage them this year as evidence and look at how many fighters are getting title opportunities with him.”

Goodwin commented “I love creating opportunities for those who have never had them before. I have a plan for Michael and in the next month or so this will become apparent. For the first time in his career Michael has something to look forward to and he will be a guest at our next show “BACK OF THE NET”.

Ramabeletsa turned professional in 2008 in his native South Africa before coming to the UK and assuming the role of journeyman where he fought opponents like Paul Butler and Khalid Yafai.

“I was fighting on short notice and not being able to prepare properly. For the first time in my career now I will have a chance to show how good I really am” Michael concluded.
