WBN heard last week Joshua v Klitschko was being eyed for the same night Haye is pencilling a third fight of 2016, leading to rumours ‘The Hayemaker’ could be set for the undercard.
Haye has defeated two low-key opponents since embarking on a comeback following over four years out and hopes to land another world title shot in 2017.
The Londoner has been linked to fighting UK rival Joshua himself recently and famously lost out to Klitschko when the pair met in Germany back in 2011.
A venue of Manchester Arena is the current frontrunner for Joshua’s latest defence of his top division crown as the boxing world await a statement from Matchroom Boxing and KMG on the fight.
