Dennis Ceylan training in London for Ryan Walsh bout

The Danish fighter is undergoing an intensive training camp at London’s Stonebridge Boxing Club, where he has set up camp prior to his clash with the current British Champion.

Located in one of the capital’s toughest housing estates, Stonebridge Boxing Club is an active fighter against gun and knife crime, and with the support of Team Sauerland, has been working tirelessly to keep vulnerable youths of the streets.

IBF World Super Middleweight Champion James DeGale regularly uses the club’s facilities, as did Danish boxing icon Mikkel Kessler prior to his second showdown with Carl Froch.

Here, Ceylan, void of distractions, can focus on nothing other than boxing, and gain vital sparring with some of Britain’s top featherweight talents.

‘’This has definitely been the toughest training camp of my career,’’ said Ceylan. ‘’It will make sure I’m in the best possible shape for my European title fight.

‘’It’s a great gym and has everything you need to prepare for a big fight like mine. I’ve also been able to get some World class sparring, which is not possible at home. British boxers are some of the toughest and most enduring fighters around, and we’ve been selecting sparring partners to emulate Walsh’s style.

‘’I don’t want to give too much away in terms of our tactics, but I can tell you that we have a plan, and we know what it takes to win!’’

Dennis Ceylan’s European title fight with Ryan Walsh tops a blockbuster bill at the Arena Nord in Frederikshavn. Star talents Abdul Khattab and Rashid Kassem are back in action, while Dina Thorslund faces Oksana Romanova, and professional debutant Mikkel Mielsen meets Andrei Dolhozhyieu.

Tickets are available online via www.arenanord.dk or by calling (+45) 96201050. All the action will be shown live on Viaplay Fighting. For more information, please visit
