Norwegian cruiserweight Kai Robin Havnaa (6-0, 5 KOs) will face MirnesDenadic (7-3, 3 KOs) on October 1 in a six-round contest on the undercard of the WBA World Light Heavyweight title fight between Juergen Braehmer and Nathan Cleverly at the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg, Germany.
Havnaa returns to action following his second-round technical knockout victory over Miklos Kovacs on March 19 at the Albertslund MusikTeatret in Denmark, and the 27 year-old says he is looking forward to getting back in the ring and testing his skills against his Bosnian opponent Denandic.
‘’I’m really looking forward it,’’ says Havnaa. ‘’It will be my first time fighting outside of Denmark, and I’m excited to get the chance to fight in Germany as part of such a big show. Since my last fight, I’ve been working hard with my coach Joey Gamache, I’ve had a lot of tough sparring, and I feel like I’ve really improved.
‘’I want to give the fans in Neubrandenburg a high-octane fight with lots of action. Denadic is a strong opponent, and I see this fight as another good challenge for me as I keep developing as a professional. We’re taking things one-step at a time, but I’m very happy with my progress so far, and hope to claim another good win on October 1.”
