Carlos Molina and Carlos Gorham ready for battle this Saturday

Molina v Gorham features on “Knockout in the Port” which it is headed by local hero Marcos Villasana jr. and the Philippine Rosekie Cristobal. Transmission throughout the country is by Televisa Deportes Box supported by Cerveza Victoria and Playboy Mexico.

The ‘King’ Molina and ‘Rana’ Gorham answered various questions to representatives of the media present at the press conference, speaking both of momentum in extending their winning streaks this weekend.

Former junior middleweight world champion Molina has four straight wins, while Gorham boasts nine wins in a row, the last four of them by knockout.

“We have a big challenge ahead. We know that the opponent is high quality and comes with several victories. It will be a very tough fight, but we are ready to face it in the best way,” said Molina.

Similarly, Gorham acknowledged that this fight will be very hard against a champion of great experience.

“Molina is one of the best fighters in the division and he also has several victories in a row. That makes him a top quality opponent.

“We have our boxing goals, desire and enthusiasm to move forward, and need victories like Saturday to go for more,” said Gorham.

When asked if his fight could be decided by knockout, both said they are ready to fight with all the intensity, seeking to impose their strength from the early rounds of the contest.

The both hope to come out on top by any means.
