Hammond v Ekundayo CBC bids cancelled, Brubaker clash agreed

Commonwealth Championship contests will be opened by the Chairman of the CBC, Philip Brook Smith QC, at his Fountain Court Chambers, Temple, London at 12 00 midday this coming Thursday 18th August.

The following bouts will be subject to bids:

SUPERMIDDLE Luke Blackledge (Champion, England) v Zac Dunn (Australia)

SUPERWELTER Liam Williams (Champion, Wales) v Rocky Jercik (Australia)

SUPERFEATHER Liam Walsh (Champion, England) v Andy Townend (England) * any bid will subsist subject to Townend result 10th September

SUPERBANTAM Gamal Yafai (Champion, England) v Emmanuel Quartey (Ghana)

BANTAM (Vacant Title) Duke Micah (Ghana) v Andrew Moloney (Australia)

With respect to a later notice issued, bids for the vacant Welter Championship between Cameron Hammond (Australia) and Larry Ekundayo (Nigeria) are cancelled as terms have been agreed and contracts signed for a vacant Championship contest in Australia between Hammond and OPBF Champion Jack Brubaker also of Australia in October. The winner will be required to defend against Ekundayo.
