Prior to Khan’s recent statements, the Olympic silver medallist had ruled out a fight with Brook, leaving the Yorkshireman free to secure a massive middleweight title clash with Gennady Golovkin.
During the British press tour with Golovkin, Khan reversed his previous disinterest and says a fight with Brook is on his mind, along with a much-publicised switch to UFC to fight Conor McGregor.
Those comments led Brook to compare Khan to US reality TV stars the Kardashian sisters this week.
“I don’t know what’s going on with Amir Khan,” Brook told Sky Sports News HQ.
“He’s worse than them Kardashian sisters. He says one thing and then he changes his mind. He wanted to fight Conor McGregor last week, he wants to fight me this week. I don’t know what’s going on in his mind.
“As it stands today, I’m concentrating on Gennady Golovkin. Like I said to everyone, I want to make the Amir Khan fight for the fans and it’s only him that’s not making it happen.
“I said to him, ‘If we don’t fight, no problem’ as this fight is bigger than the Khan fight. I don’t need him to be in a big fight. There are other big fights out there for me.
On Khan’s MMA bid, Brook added: “I think he’s just talking hot air and I can’t take the guy seriously so good luck with that. I don’t believe it’s true.”
