Las Vegas Police issue missing persons alert for Roger Mayweather

A missing persons report was filed after Mayweather was last seen on Saturday morning in an area close to Spring Mountain Road and Valley View Boulevard.

The 55 year-old, who is a prominent member of the Mayweather Boxing Club Gym in Nevada, has been known to be suffering ill health for the past few years and has not trained his nephew full-time since 2013.

According to police, Mayweather was last seen wearing white t-shirt, blue sweatpants and white trainers and more worryingly has none of his prescription medication to hand.

Metro Police have asked anyone with information to contact Missing Persons Detail at 702-828-2907 (LV – USA).

Retiring from fighting in 1999, Mayweather has shared the ring with the likes of former world champions Julio Cesar Chavez, Pernell Whitaker, Vinny Pazienza and Kostya Tszyu.

‘The Black Mamba’ boasted a 59-13 C.V in the sport having made his debut back in 1981 and enjoyed a lengthy career.

Once his punching days were over, Mayweather helped Floyd Jr. become one of the most gifted fighters of his generation but was forced to stand down as coach due to his ongoing health problems.
