Former world champion Amir Khan has posted a picture of himself with the Ultimate Fighting Championship belt amidst claims the Bolton man is set to switch codes.

Upon being knocked out badly by Canelo Alvarez in May, Khan is seemingly evaluating his next career move having already offered UFC champ Conor McGregor a future fight.

Khan, 29, has failed to light up the boxing world since losing his 140 pound titles to current welterweight belt holder Danny Garcia in 2012 and may now be ready to leave the sport that made his name behind.

With the UFC world title. UFC training has started ????

The Briton burst onto the scene in 2004 when claiming a silver medal at the Athens Olympics as a 17 year-old and has amassed a legion of fans since.

Any move to UFC would be big business for ‘King’ Khan, although the idea has been met with some ridicule from those involved in MMA thus far.
