The second part of the Commonwealth Boxing Council situation of titles reads as follows:
Champion BRADLEY SKEETE of England has informed the CBC that as he is unable to make a defence in the near future he has voluntarily vacated this title. Mandatory contender CAMERON HAMMOND of Australia has been given the opportunity to make a match against another suitable contender for the vacant title.
Representatives of mandatory contender DAVE RYAN of England are given a 14 day deadline from 4th July 2016 to confirm a date, venue and opponent for the vacant title, failing which the CBC will consider any other proposal from a promoter for match between two acceptable contenders for the vacant title.
Representatives of mandatory contender ELTON DHARRY of Guyana are given a 14 day deadline as from 4th July 2016 to confirm a date, venue and opponent for the vacant title, failing which the CBC will consider any other proposal from a promoter for a match between two acceptable contenders for the vacant Title.
In what will be a historic first, City Boxing of Vancouver, BC, Canada, are expected to confirm the inaugural Commonwealth Women’s Featherweight Championship to take place on September 9th (see FORTHCOMING CHAMPIONSHIPS)
