The Commonwealth Boxing Council have released their latest bulletin. Below is news from heavyweight to light-heavyweight.

Other weights to follow…

This title automatically became vacant following Anthony Joshua’s successful challenge for the IBF World Heavyweight Championship.

We are currently awaiting receipt of copy contracts for a match between DILLON CARMAN of Canada and GARY CORNISH of Scotland to confirm their proposed vacant title contest scheduled to take place in Canada in September.

Champion OVILL MCKENZIE of Jamaica has advised the CBC that as he is unable to make a defence in the near future, he has voluntarily vacated the Championship to allow an opportunity to other contenders to challenge for the vacant Title.

Currently, Global Legacy Promotions are looking to make a match for listed Canadian contender DENTON DALEY.

Having failed to make any defence since winning the Championship in June of 2015, and with no responses on behalf of Champion BOB AJISAFE of England received from any representative to email communications sent by the Hon Secretary, the Directors of the CBC have reluctantly declared this title vacant as from 30th June.

Promoters are invited to make application to the Hon Secretary for a match for the vacant title.
