Look: Tyson Fury shows off €1000 bar bill, parties with football fans despite ankle injury

The WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight king disappointed his fans when pulling of the July 9 fight in Manchester with just two weeks to go, but soon made up for it when travelling to Nice, France and buying a round of JagerBombs for €1000.

Fury, 27, has been pictured and videoed jumping and singing with Euro 2016 fans despite his swollen ankle as a second fight with main rival Klitschko seems the furthest thing from his mind.

According to promoter Mick Hennessy, Fury v Klitschko 2 is set to be rearranged for October at the same venue and gives the champion less than four months of recovery and training time.

A steroid storm has also erupted in the UK press involving Fury and cousin Hughie and may lead to more serious circumstances for the whole team if reports in the Daily Mirror are substantiated.

It’s not the first time Fury has been on the wrong side of the newspapers in his career, although the fighter himself is usually able to brush off the controversy and will be aiming to do the same upon his return to the UK.
