Boris Arencibia sent a clear message to WBA President Gilberto Mendoza Jr. “Gilberto, you know who the real WBA cruiserweights champion is. We are ready to fight Shumenov”
Arencibia added “Talk some days ago with Shumenov trainer Ismael Salas, and told them we want that fight. Shumenov expressed to me by telephone that he is willing to fight and this is the fight we’re hoping that in the cruiser division”
Meanwhile, Yunier Dorticos said: “What we needed is not more talk, I am willing to travel to Russia, Panama or Kazakhstan or wherever Shumenov wants. They just need to call my promoter Boris Arencibia, I live in Miami and desire that fight, go to make this fight!! I’m ready to fight Shumenov.”
