‘Pompey Explosion’ topped by Floyd Moore v Michael Devine on July 9

Boxing commences at 3.30 pm and with finish likely to be around 7.30 fans in attendance will still be able to watch the Klitschko-Fury clash on the same night so makes a great double header.

Top of the bill is the mouth-watering clash between Floyd Moore (holder) and Michael Devine (challenger) for the Southern Area Lightweight title. Moore won the title in 2015 knocking out Danny Carter and then successfully defended his crown against Ben Day in March 2016. This will be his second defence against Lutonian Devine who is a former Prizefighter Semi-Finalist and will be attempting to become a two weight Southern Area Champion.

There are two other title fights with Joel McIntyre having his first fight since signing with the Goodwin’s. McIntyre fights for the Light-Heavyweight International Challenge Belt against a yet to be confirmed opponent.

Lucas Balingall at only 19 has a bright future. Currently 4-0 Lucas competes for the International Challenge Belt at Featherweight. Opponent yet to be confirmed.

The eagerly awaited debut of “The Fighting Fireman” Charlie Quinn is an exciting addition to the undercard. Quinn is a very exciting light-heavyweight prospect who is destined for great things and brings large support and atmosphere to the venue.

Cruiserweight Biola Kudus has a very impressive record of 5 wins from 6 bouts. Biola has a 6 round contest.

Former professional footballer David Birmingham has been very impressive in his two wins to date and Dave has his third paid contest in the lightweight division.

Flyweight Ricky Little completes the undercard when he makes his debut in a 4 round contest.
