Former world cruiserweight champion David Haye had a reply for current WBC title holder Tony Bellew on Monday afternoon.
The 35 year-old, now campaigning at heavyweight, was called out by Bellew upon the Liverpudlian claiming the 200 pound green belt due to a crushing knockout win over Ilunga Makabu at Goodison Park.
Bellew told Haye to ‘stop fighting clowns’ on the back of the Londoner scoring early victories over Mark de Mori and Arnold Gjergjaj in 2016 and signalled his intention to defend the new strap against his compatriot.
Haye commented that the punch which knocked Bellow down in the first round must have scrambled his brain to suggest he could beat the ‘Bermondsey B****.’
