Heavyweight David Price has revealed that a request from headliner Tony Bellew and Everton Football Club has led the staunch Liverpudlian to change his usual ringwalk music.
The former British champion competes on the undercard of Bellew’s dream world title shot at Goodison Park this Sunday but a flag was immediately raised when Price was added to the show.
Price usually enters to EFC’s big rivals signature tune by Gerry and The Pacemakers, although the ‘Big Horrible Heavyweight’ was told in no uncertain terms that this wouldn’t be allowed.

“The main talking point has been my ring entrance music because I usually come out to You’ll Never Walk Alone,” Price told Everton TV.
“My intentions before I was on this show was to change my entrance music anyway but Tony’s let me know that the club are saying it can’t happen, so I’ll choose an alternative.”
The pair share a trainer these days in Yorkshire-based David Coldwell and will be hoping for a double celebration when the lights go down at the Premier League stadium this weekend.
Bellew faces llunga Makabu for the vacant WBC cruiserweight title, whilst Price is due to battle Czech puncher Vaclav Pejsar over eight rounds as he aims to score a first win in over a year.
