The evening’s main event, which is accompanied by a top class meal and drinks, will be contested between Belshill’s Ronnie Nailen from and Perth’s Ryan Lyall in what is set to be a mouth-watering all Scottish clash. The Middleweight clash which will be for the WBU Scottish area title will no doubt cause some fireworks on fight night.
Nailen’s boxing talent has never been in doubt after having a successful and well respected amateur career in Scotland and has spoken at his delight at being back in the ring as a professional.
“It’s well known I had a good amateur career but I’ve wanted to get back in the ring for a while and the On The Ropes team have given me the opportunity too and I intend on taking with both hands come June 18th.”
Ryan Lyall has been in the combat sports trade since his youth and made the transition from kick boxer to boxer some years back. The naturally fighter is confident that he will pose Nailen problems and is highly motivated for the WBU sanctioned contest.
“This fight will bring the best out in me. Ronnie is a good fighter and I’m planning on showing that I am at that level on June 18th. It’s going to be a great fight.”
