WBC 28/03/2016

Three times world champion Jhonny Gonzalez will defend his WBC Silver International super featherweight belt, on April 2nd at Tlalnepantla de Baz Convention Center against the African Justin “Vodou” Savi, in a match that is expected to be action packed.

Jhonny arrives for this bout after winning his fringe belt in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, on points against Japan’s Hurricane Futa and holds an impressive record of 59 wins, 49 of them by knockout.

Next he fights African puncher Savi, who has a record of 28 wins, 18 by KO. This bristling event will have the Mexican fighter working really hard for victory.

Savi has plenty of international experience and comes to this fight as a 130 pounds African champion. He was also a WBC silver and Mediterranean champion.
