It was a night dominated by knockouts at the SSE Arena as the undercard performers for the Nick Blackwell v Chris Eubank Jr headliner entertained the Wembley crowd.

In the final match-up before the main and co-feature bouts, promising heavyweight Nick Webb produced a cracking finisher to demolish Zoltan Csala in the first round of his fifth pro fight. The 28 year-old has now won all of his contests within three minutes and looks ready for a step-up in his next outing.

On his light-heavyweight debut, former world title challenger Frank Buglioni wasted no time notching a maiden success at the higher weight by stopping Olegs Fedotovs in the opening session.

Buglioni made the switch to Mick Hennessy after parting ways with Frank Warren and is aiming to move swiftly towards the top domestic contenders at the 175 pound limit.

Surrey’s two-time English title challenger Ricky Boylan scored a decisive 60-55 points win over Lukasz Janik following six rounds that were largely one-way traffic.

Undefeated lightweight Yusuf Safa recorded a fourth knockout from six bouts as the 22 year-old Londoner celebrated a third round success against Teodor Stefanov.

Welterweight Kane Heron defeated journeyman Kevin McCauley 40-36 to improve his record to 4-0 in the night’s opener before the charismatic Peter McDonagh had no problems breezing past Arvydas Trizno over six rounds. Super welterweight McDonagh is closing in on a winning record after making it 26, 28 losses and one draw from his 55 contests.
