The weigh-in for Saturday’s MGM ‘Clash of Clans’ bill quickly turned into a nightmare on Friday afternoon as masked men opened fire at the Regency Hotel.
Fighters, signed to Matthew Macklin’s MGM stable and promoted by Frank Warren, were filmed running for cover as the shocking incident unfolded in Dublin.
In the footage below, uploaded to YouTube by Storyful News, attendees of the scaling are seen fleeing the scene amidst confusion as the shooting began.
The event was part of the pre-fight formalities for a ten-fight card at the National Stadium which was due to star Jamie Kavanagh and Gary Corcoran but has now been cancelled.
