Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has denied retirement is imminent and hopes to have at least three more fights before stepping away from boxing.
In a lengthy chat with IFL TV’s Kugan Cassius, Fury, 27, outlined that he will continue his career despite a BBC interview hinting at retirement and only one gym appearance in the last three months.
Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko to become the top player in the division and is contracted to face the Ukrainian again in the next few months.
Despite dates in May and June being bandied about, Fury stated that he has been given no assurances regarding the Klitschko return as he also addressed some of the current issues in the sport.
Klitschko, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua were named by Fury as the three opponents he wishes to face.
