Sky Sports schedule kicks off tonight ahead of Wilder v Szpilka this weekend

Sky Sports 12/01/2016

It’s a busy schedule of Boxing programming on Sky Sports this week as we kick off 2016, a year which might be our most exciting yet.

Tonight at 8.30pm on Sky Sports 1 we have exclusive highlights from Germany as Vincent Feigenbutz and Italy’s Giovanni De Carolis aim to set the record straight in a highly-anticipated rematch. Feigenbutz was knocked down in their first encounter but clung on to claim a close decision. This time the vacant WBA Super-Middleweight belt is the prize. Plus, British interest on the card with Heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora.

Then on Friday at 10.15pm on Sky Sports 1 we’ll re-run in full one of the best Heavyweight fights of 2015. Anthony Joshua’s entertaining battle with bitter London rival Dillian Whyte.

In the early hours of Sunday morning our live action begins as we feature a massive night for the Heavyweight division. 2 world titles are on the line as hard-hitting, charismatic American champion Deontay Wilder defends his WBC strap against Poland’s Artur Szpilka. Plus undefeated contenders collide, as Charles Martin and Vyacheslav Glazkov meet for the vacant IBF crown.

With the Heavyweight’s in the spotlight there’s plenty of big hitting content available On Demand. David Haye’s WBA title victory over Nikolai Valuev plus an interview with the youngest ever World Heavyweight Champion ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.
