Mexican Pedro Guevara announces he’s determined to re-conquer the WBC light flyweight belt he lost by decision in Japan, and then climb up to the flyweight division to conquer the next belt.
Guevara also commented he did make a few mistakes against Yu Kimura, in a very close bout. For this reason, he’s seeking a rematch bout, redemption and then onwards and upwards for flyweight belt.
“I was not defeated, but I did have an uncomfortable lesson. However, I’m sure I can regain the belt because I still have the hunger. We are moving forward, ” commented Guevara, who also practices as a lawyer.
The 26 year-old lost via split decision to Kimora on November 28 to suffer only his second loss in 29 professional bouts.
