Thorslund handed spot on Nielsen v Markussen bill

The Danish super bantamweight will face Jasmina Nadj (5-10-2) prior to Patrick Nielsen’s ‘Bad Blood’ battle with domestic rival Rudy Markussen.

“I’m really looking forward to this fight,” said Thorslund. ‘’I’ve been training really hard with my coach Thomas Madsen, so I’m in super shape!

‘’Nadj is a solid opponent who has never been stopped. She is a good defensive fighter, but she is a boxer I should be able to beat. I will need to put her under pressure from the beginning and not allow her to destroy my rhythm.

‘’I will attack her from the first second, and if the opportunity comes, I will make every effort to try to stop her!’’

Thorslund, who will be making her Nordic Fight Night debut, is looking forward to fighting on a big stage in front of a sell out crowd at the Brondby Hallen.

‘’It’s a massive show,’’ says the ‘Blonde Bomber’. ‘’I’m excited to be boxing in front of so many people. I’ve been dreaming about this moment for a long time, and I intend to show Team Sauerland that they have made the right decision by putting me on the card.

‘’It’s also my television debut, so I have to present myself in the best possible way, and I plan on doing that with entertaining and aggressive boxing!’’

The domestic mega-fight between Patrick Nielsen and Rudy Markussen will be shown live and exclusive on Pay-Per-View in Denmark.
