The champion got on to the scales weighing 157.8 pounds, while the challenger, Saul Alvarez, registered 160.2 pounds. Both fighters were in great condition and are poised as well as keen to step into the ring next Saturday.
The 30 and 7 pre weigh in, is ordered by the World Boxing Council in order to protect the physical integrity of the fighters.
