WBC light flyweight champion Pedro Guevara defends his belt on November 28th against Yu Kimara at the Xebio Arena of Japan, sharing the card with compatriot WBC super flyweight champion, Carlos Cuadras, who’ll be fighting Koki Eto
“I’ll be back in Japan, where I won my title last year after defeating former world champion Akira Yaegashi. I simply can’t fail my people or Mexico. This’ll be a great fight as my rival has hunger for success. But despite him being at home I’m the champion. I don’t want to sound like showing off, but I’m definitely keeping what’s mine”
Pedro Guevara has already defended his world title twice. The first time against Filipino, Richard Claveras and then against mandatory challenger, Ganigan Lopez.
He’s in high altitude training with Miguel Mendoza, Marcos Hernandez and Radamés Hernandez, at the Otomi Center, sparring with minimumweight prospect Saúl “Baby” Juárez.
