Ahmed El Mousaoui returns to the ring on December 5 at “Fight For Life” in New Zealand for the IBF Inter-Continental, WBA Asia Pacific and WBO Oriental title belts against the Australian Jeff Horn.
Horn is world ranked 27th and will be a real test for El Mousaoui following his win over former WBC world title holder Junior Witter for the EU championship last April.
This event is already sold out and will be broadcast live via FOX SPORTS USA, Asia and Bein Sport for France and the rest of the world.
Given the direction he decided to take his career, El Mousaoui also announced that he will vacate the EU belt to allow other boxers to access it.
“I am expecting a battle with Horn because for one of the fighter has everything to win and for the other he has everything to lose,” El Mousaoui told World Boxing News.
“Fans can expect a great fight and I look forward to entertaining the New Zealand crowd.”
