Rios overweight, makes 147 at second attempt for Bradley clash

‘Bam Bam’ has previously missed weight for a 135lb championship fight during his time as WBA lightweight belt holder and regularly looks gaunt when taking to the scales.

The 29 year-old came in 147.2lbs for his fight scheduled to take place at 147, before coming back and hitting the championship limit one hour later.

Saturday’s HBO World Championship Boxing telecast begins at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The main event is a scheduled 12-round fight. The telecast kicks off with a featherweight title fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and Romulo Koasicha.
