In what ways has your relationship with trainer Freddie Roach helped this late resurgence for your career at middleweight?
Working with Freddie every day has been great to me. Watching the way he works and handles himself motives me to work even harder. We have a great relationship and we have shown it through all of my last fights.
What is the significance of this fight for you in terms of the Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry?
This fight is another chapter in the legendary rivalry between Puerto Rico and Mexico. Is a high level fight with 2 great fighters that fans wanted to see them fight in a long time, November 21 will be epic.
What type of advantages over Canelo do you hold entering the fight?
This is not who has the advantages. This is about the best condition and game plan that could bring in that night. I believe I will be in my best condition to obtain the victory.
Which fight in your career was the greatest learning experience that continues to help you today?
Fighting the former world champion Cesar Basan at the beginning of my career was a great learning experience for me that will always be remembered.
