WBC begin process of addressing mandatory status for each division

The World Boxing Council will open officially its 53rd Convention on Monday in the impressive Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Intercontinental of the beautiful city of Kunming in China, however, the members of the WBC Rankings Committee have already rolled their sleeves up, and are working on a detailed agenda.

Well known as one of the of the most efficient departments of the WBC, they’re today discussing and developing the Lists of Ranked boxers for November.

For this reason, the members of the committee met at the Dan Xia Salon at the Intercontinental hotel. The meeting has an impressive lineup with the President of the Australian Committee Frank Quill, Luis Medina, WBC Rankings Secretary, Bob Yalen from the US, Victor Cota from Mexico, Belgium’s Daniel Van De Wiele, Bismark Morales, from Nicaragua; Dean Lohans, Nicolas Hidalgo, from Venezuela and Germany’s Malte Mueller-Michaelis.

The next WBC Rankings will be concluded on Saturday and they will be immediately released. During the sessions of the Convention, the WBC will address the mandatory status per division.
