Gilberto Ramirez eyes up Mexican showdown with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

During an interview with Boxeo Mexicano, the fighter from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, pledged: “ I wish Chavez Jr. has a great comeback and fights soon, because I’m interested in fighting him and it would be a really exciting match that all the Mexican fans would love to see!”

During the next year, “Zurdo” Ramirez is determined to fulfill one of his biggest goals. To become the very first super middleweight champion from Mexico.

However before all of that, he’ll have to pass a tough test in the shape of Germany’s Gevorg Khatchikian (31-1, 11 KO’s), with his NABF super middleweight championship on the line.

Gilberto Ramirez vs. Gevorg Khatchikian will take place on November 20th at the Cosmopolitan Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada.
