Manny Pacquiao has sensationally claimed that a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr is still possible despite the pound for pound king’s retirement announcement last month.
The 36 year-old stated via a Facebook video that he is ‘hoping’ the fight can still take place after he lost a unanimous decision to Mayweather in May.
On the other hand, Mayweather’s advisor Leonard Ellerbe recently confirmed that ‘Money’ is retired and that is the end of the discussion as far as he is concerned.
Floyd Mayweather is RETIRED, end of discussion.

Former Pacquiao training partner Amir Khan has already announced himself as the frontrunner for what will be the Filipino’s final bout on April 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to Bob Arum.
Whether the post is relevant to a contest actually happening remains a mystery, although Pacquiao’s admission certainly raises more questions than answers.
Ask me a question.
