The MGM Scotland Promotions Dinner Club premiere’s on Thursday 29th October from the fantastic Crowne Plaza hotel in Glasgow.
The format of the Dinner Club is to showcase the best fighters MGM Scotland Promotions have to offer in excellent surroundings which includes an excellent four course meal of the highest standard.
Thursday evenings bill in topped by new MGM signing, 16-0 Featherweight Michael Roberts Jnr in a six round contest as he looks to kick on for titles in the early months of 2016. Roberts Jnr who holds an amateur victory over Lee Selby looks to show that he is still an improving fighter and is ready for domestic and international titles.
Scottish Commonwealth games representative Heavyweight Ross Henderson makes his long anticipated Pro Debut. Henderson who is highly rated in Scottish boxing circles will be looking to kick on as a pro with haste after an extended amateur career. The 28 year old Cleland native will look to kick on at a fast pace under the guidance of MGM.
Glasgow’s Light Middleweight Marc Kerr makes has his third professional contest. Marc is fresh off sparring sessions with Matthew Macklin. ‘Magic’ Marc had his last professional outing on the MGM Marbella show in Marbella in August and has looked sharp in his preparation for his outing on the 29th, holding camps under the guidance of Promoter/Trainer Sam Kynoch and former World Title challenger Gary Jacobs.
The bill is made up by Edinburgh’s Light Welterweight Lewis Benson who has had good rounds out in Marbella with Paulie Malignaggi. Benson who sounded full of confidence at the recent MGM Scotland press conference looks to make it 2-0 before he makes his return to Edinburgh for the 5th December ‘Edinburgh Fight Night’ show topped by David Brophy vs Charles Adamu.
