Kell Brook v Diego Chaves dropped from PPV, moves to Sky Sports 1

Phil Jay 08/10/2015

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook will defend his belt against Diego Chaves live on Sky Sports 1, the network confirmed to World Boxing News on Thursday.

Brook was due to face the Argentinian challenger on Sky Sports Box Office alongside the world heavyweight title clash between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury on October 24 until the latter was postponed due to an injury.

Sky have now moved to switch their schedule around in order to avoid an extra pay-per-view cost to the fans by placing Brook v Chaves on Sky Sports 1 instead.

The November 28 battle between Klitschko and Fury will be shown on Sky Box Office as part of a two-channel double header with James DeGale’s IBF super middleweight clash with Lucian Bute from Canada.

Here is the new Sky Sports 2015 autumn schedule in full:

October 15 – Selby v Montiel, Alexander v Martinez – live on Sky Sports 1

October 17 – Cleverly v Fonfara plus Eggington / Macklin / Yafai – live on Sky Sports 1

October 24 – Brook v Chaves, Eubank Jr v Jeter, McDonnell v Parod – The full fight night is live on Sky Sports 1

November 7 – Smith v Fielding, Cardle v Dodd – live on Sky Sports 1
