Cotto, who’s happy to face the music, has already begun his training camp in L.A. with Freddie Roach.
With more than a month of preparation already under his belt, the Mexican boxer is training with three different sparring partners – two middleweights and one lightweight, varying and alternating strength and speed innovations.
“We are going to see a more mature Canelo. We are going to see an experienced fighter, one meticulous boxer. You will see the best version of Canelo on November 21 and you will see the results!” José ‘Chepo’ Reynoso, manager and trainer of Alvarez, pledged to ESPN.
“We are doing our job. Only time will tell if we did right, and that’s the most important thing. Cotto knows how to work. I don’t want to talk about them at all. We are respectful and we ourselves are focused on this effort.”
