Klitschko, 40, suffered a leg injury that meant the original October 24 date had to be pushed back and both sides are now attempting to thrash out a deal that works for all sides.
Sky Sports Box Office are committed to televising IBF champion Kell Brook on pay-per-view, and although Fury is hopeful the fight can go ahead in late November, the heavyweight bout may have to be put off until early 2016.
Despite similarities to when David Haye postponed a September clash for five months back in 2013 before eventually pulling out of the fight altogether, Fury fully believes that Klitschko will honour his mandatory obligation.
“To be fair on Tyson we had the David Haye scenario twice, but Wladimir Klitschko is no David Haye,” Fury exclusively told World Boxing News.
“We are used to all this anyway – you know, but we’ve always got to look at if there is any antics being played to try and disrupt our camp in any way, so we are fully aware of what could go on.
“It doesn’t really matter to us as we are constantly in training and just as four weeks will help Klitschko, it will help Tyson as well.
“We are looking at that they are very genuine people, so I just hope that they reschedule as soon as possible and get the fight on,” he added.
November 28 has been initially put to Sky to figure out whether they can somehow fit the encounter into their schedule, but failing that, Klitschko v Fury would have to take place in the first quarter of 2016 and leave fans frustrated once more.
