In a Face-Off taping following their UK press conference on Wednesday, Tyson Fury amazingly predicted what would come true just two days later.
The 27 year-old, fresh from his appearance as Batman at the media gathering, told world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko that he would pull out of their imminent fight with an injury.
Comparing Klitschko to David Haye, who dropped out of bouts with Fury in 2012 and 2013, the former British title holder was adamant he had sufficiently spooked the Ukrainian with his pre-fight antics.
At one point, Fury stated that he would have to back off Klitschko a little as he ‘just wanted him to turn up and fight’ on October 24 as Sky Sports host Johnny Nelson watched on.
Klitschko would then postpone the fight on Friday after suffering a calf tear in training. The fight is set to be given a new date next week.
