Razor Ruddock wiped out by Dillon Carman at the age of 51

Razor Ruddock, riding back-to-back wins since his revival, was hoping to regain the Canadian title he claimed in his initial retirement fight back in 2001 but looked like an aged fighter against Carman.

The Jamaica-born Canadian was hurt in the third and took a knee. However, he was on highly questionable legs when assuring referee Mark Simmons that he was okay to continue.

That led to another barrage of punches from Carman, the last of which completely took the bottom half away from Ruddock as he crashed to the canvas out of it.

RAZOR RUDDOCK DOWN

Simmons didn’t even have to begin the count, let alone reach six before waving it off, as Ruddock was down for the count and more as stunned fans watch on at the Ricoh Coliseum.

On Friday’s evidence, Ruddock needs to step away for good before he gets hurt badly, and if he does talk about fighting again in the future, somebody should pull out the recording of this fight to keep the veteran safely retired.
