Mayweather adamant on final bout, rules out Cotto v Canelo winner

Undefeated WBC Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather Jr, confirms that his fight against Andre Berto will be the last one of his career.

It’ll be broadcast on PPV in the US and Latin America can be seen via “Combate Space.”

“This 49th fight will be my last,” said Floyd, who has a brilliant record of 48-0 and 26 Ko’s.

Floyd will seek to match Rocky Marciano, who had a record of 49-0 and 43 Ko´s. Rocky retired in 1955.

On the other hand, Andre Berto, who has built a record of 30-3, will try to stun Floyd Mayweather, and surprise the World, at the MGM in Las Vegas.

Floyd denied the possibility of a last bout against the winner of the fight between Puerto Rican WBC middleweight Champion Miguel Angel Cotto, and Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, as he has already defeated both of them.
