Ceylan ready to rock ‘n’ roll, says ‘Elvis’ is going down

“Elvis is a boxer, I should be able to beat without any problems,’’ said Ceylan. ‘’He is going down! There is no need to hide that fact. I’m in the best shape of my life, and I’m ready to rock ‘n’ roll!

“My training has gone better than ever. I’ve been breaking all my records in the gym, and have had some good rounds of sparring leading up to this fight. I feel great!

‘’It’s no secret I want to challenge for European and World titles, so I need to keep improving as my opponents are only going to get better and better. But my time is coming, and I know it’s only a matter of time before I have a belt around my waist.’’

Ceylan has consistently delivered entertaining performances as part of Team Sauerland’s Nordic Fight Night series. In 2015, solid fighters such as Cristian Montilla, Sergio Prado and former world champion Dmitry Kirillov have all lost at the hands of the young Dane, and the fan-favourite is eager to continue this good run of form in Frederikshavn.

“I just need to keep winning,” said the 26 year-old. ‘’In Frederikshavn, I plan to dominate my opponent, while making sure the audience is entertained. Like always I want to deliver a performance that people will remember.”

Tickets for the Nordic Fight Night ‘Collision Course’ featuring Patrick Nielsen vs. Samir Santos Barbosa and Rudy Markussen vs. Ramazi Gogichashvili are available via arenanord.dk. All the action will be shown live on Viasat channels in Denmark.
