Brandon Rios signs off on Timothy Bradley WBO title clash

According to Garica, the fight is set to take place on November 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada as Rios aims to become as two-weight world champion against one of the best 147 pound fighters in the sport.

“Team Rios has signed its side of the deal to face Tim Bradley on November 7 for the WBO Welterweight title in Las Vegas. (We are) Waiting for Team Bradley to sign and make it official,” said Garcia on Thursday night.

Rios himself added: “This is going to be a good fight. I can’t wait and the fans is going to have fun watching it too.”

Confirmation that the WBO title will be on the line is still yet to come from the World Boxing Organisation, although Bradley has now been rubberstamped as the official title holder following a protest from Floyd Mayweather.

That means Bradley is free to make a voluntary defense of his belt and once his portion of the Rios deal is inked, the pair will face-off in an intriguing world title match-up.

Rios and Bradley had both been linked to fighting IBF champion Kell Brook in recent weeks, although talks broke down and the Top Rank made their move.
